Ret-A and Chloramine T

I recently purchased your tretinoin cream .025 and left in my car on accident for about a week.  I went to use it and the texture is more runny than a cream.  I was just wondering if it is still ok to use and if it has the same effectiveness?

Also, I went to look for your disinfecting powder and I didn't see it on your website.  Are you no longer selling this product?  If not, why?  Lastly, I was wondering how much of the Chloramine T powder to water that I should use to make just enough to clean roller and single needle overnight? I don't want to keep it in the fridge, I want to make a new solution everytime.

We are not selling Chloramine-T anymore because traces of it remain inside the roller head after soaking if the roller head is not well-rinsed. Also, we have concerns about possible corrosion on the needles of our upcoming batches of microneedling devices.

The 0.025% A-Ret is runny - that is normal. We made it by diluting 0.5% with equal parts water. It is a lotion, not a gel. We amended the sales description here:

Thank you for your response. So instead of using the chloramine T I'm going to use alcholol 70%.  I was looking through other forums and could not find whether I needed to dilute the alcholol with water. Also, will leaving it in the alcholol (70%) overnight be long enough to disinfect it?

I have been using the retin a cream right after rolling stretch marks on breasts and thighs and it doesn't burn, but I noticed on some other threads you said to use only infadolan.  Am I hurting my skin by using the retin a?  Lastly, does getting dressed right after rolling make your chances of infecting the area more? Sorry for all the questions I just want to make sure I'm doing everything correct.

Soaking it for a few hours is sufficient.

I do not recommend applying A-Ret (Tretinoin) cream right after dermarolling because it is acidic and it stings when applied to the rolled skin but in some special cases such as stubborn scars and stretch marks, I highly recommend it.

No, getting dressed after rolling does not increase the risk of infection. People are overly conerned about the danger of infection after rolling. Infections after rolling are almost totally unheard of. I have heard only of two people in the entire history of dermarolling who aquired an infection, and that was due to gross negligence (not disinfecting a roller after use and then re-using it).

Hi Sarah, I have just rolled my face and made up a solution of chloramine t to disinfect my roller and dermastamp. Is it still safe to use the two bags of chloramine t I bought some time ago or should I throw it out and use the microzone I have instead?  Do I still have to leave the roller etc in the solution overnight as I did before with the chloramine t or will it do any harm to the roller if I do?

Is it only new rollers that the chloramine t affects or even the older ones?  I have noticed a white residue on the roller on some occasions after disinfection overnight even when I rinse well.

You can use Chloramine T to disinfect your dermarolling tools.

The concerns were only about the new rollers and we are going to sell Chloramine T again.

Thank you. Had recommended your products and site to a friend and suggested among other things she buy chloramine t for disinfection of rollers. She informed me that she couldn't find it on the site so wasn't sure if I should give her some of mine for the time being. I can give her chloramine t or microzone but just wanted to check first.

As a follow-up, was there ever any corrosion issues or other issues with the old batches of Chloramine-T and the new OWNDOC rollers?

Do the new batches of Chloramine-T contain the same ingredients as the old batches?

We have done several long term tests with our new rollers and there was fortunately no problem.
 
The ingredient is the same: Chloramine-T.
