Dr. Roller OR Sarah Vaughter dermaroller??
« on: August 09, 2010, 09:36:59 AM »
Hi Sarah,

After having looked through various websites and reviews , I had concluded that the Dr. roller was the best roller to use until I came across this forum! I am now very confused as to why I should get the roller your website provides rather than the dr. roller one? can you please advise.

Also, the reason why I am getting the roller is to get rid of scars, marks and large pores on my face. I would really appreciate it if you could suggest the right cream to be applied after rolling. Are copper peptide masks good for me?? I am 29yrs old, have normal skin and live in the UK.

Hoping to hear form you soon.

Hi Sid,

There are basically only "good" rollers and "bad" rollers. The bad rollers have serious issues such as blunt needles or fickle construction. The "good" rollers are basically all the same, except for the color scheme and some irrelevant details. We sell a "good" roller, to our specifications but with plastic- and cardboard box from other suppliers. Dr. Roller is also a "good" roller. We are cheaper, due to this reason:

As to creams, ointments and pre- and post-needling care, we give detailed instructions here:

(also on the forum in various topics).

We sell a vit. A & D ointment. You can read a lot about why we chose this ointment here:

Thank you so much Sarah! That was an immediate response. I have to say I have been reading other posts and threads and I am convinced of buying the rollers from your website!

Just another quick question - is it better for me to get a 1.5mm one and use it once every 3-4 weeks or 0.5mm and use it thrice a week? I work full time so i cant afford to go to work with a swollen or red face :-)

You definitely need the 1.5 mm one. Swelling and redness usually subsides in hours. Since you only roll with a 1.5 mm roller occasionally, you can do it before a day off, once a month. And of course you could still use a 0.5 mm one for enhanced skin product penetration. No significant redness or swelling with that one, especially not when you sleep over it.
