How to make a 0.5% Chloramine solution

Hallo Sarah,

how are you?

I've got a question if you don't mind. Would a bit less than half a soup spoon of Chloramine in half a liter water make a 0.5 solution for dermaroller disinfection?

I also wanted to ask for your opinion as a nutritionist. What do you think about fenugreek as a supplement?

thank you very much for your answer.

Have a nice day

Lino

The instructions for diluting the Chloramine-T are here:

https://http://shop.owndoc.com/p-174/chloramine-t.html

A 0.5% solution is a ratio of 1::200, so you would have to see how many soup spoons go in half a litre of water.

Best is to take a 25 or 50 ml measuring cup and fill it by using that particular soup spoon, then "calculate up".

I can't comment on nutritional issues because I simply have a full time job answering questions (giving support) pertaining our products.

Hi again Sarah,

just a quick question.

I rolled last night and disinfected my roller in the chloramine solution. I left it in overnight but since I overslept it must have soaked 14 hours instead of 8.

Do you think the roller is still fine?

Thank you for your answer,

Lino

I don't think Chloramine can damage the roller, so yes.
