Post-inflammatory Hyperpigmentation
« on: October 14, 2011, 05:05:47 AM »
Hi I have post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation after a burn. It is 5 months old and is still pink/brown (I have brown skin). Will the dermaroller work for this kind of problem and how much time am I looking at for this to clear?

Thanks in advance.

A dermaroller speeds up the diminishing of the pigmentation by speeding up the skin turnover. However it depends how deep your burn is..

The deeper it is, the longer it will take to disappear.

If your burn is relatively small, buy a 1.5 mm dermastamp or the single needles, not a dermaroller.
