It's a pity that I removed the posting about why all the needles currently available (with photos and detailed explanations) are not appropriate.

But hypodermic needles are the worst of all - you'd end up with scarring if you'd single-needle with them - don't even think if it..

I am really sorry that our needles are taking so long to produce. But they should be available this year, at the end of the year.

Thanks Sarah so much for letting me know i was about to buy them! I really appreciate what you are doing and i have been spending all of my free time reading yours and others blogs. I am waiting for a .5 dermaroller and 1.0 mm dermastamp to come in the mail that i ordered off off ebay before i even found this site, if i just used those for now in combination with suction do you think i would gain nice results? I know u probably would have to see my face in order to tell me what regime would be right for me..however i can tell u that my scars are the kind that look like they give a rippling effect to the skin, the kind that if u stretch out your skin the scars dissappear, w/ a couple of really sharp edged ones. I have dermarolled a couple of times with 1.0 dermaroller but i decided to throw it out and order a new one because my skin almost looked worse after, and i do believe it gave me a new large scared area that i am now working on getting rid of. It also made my skin very dry and rough looking. I did take my last dose of accutane in august but i was on a low dose regime...you dont think that can be causing my adverse side affects do you? The only other thing i can think of is that maybe i rolled to often, rolling on average about twice a week. I have read that with any kind of skin needling you are supposed to wait anywhere from 4-6 weeks with anything bigger than 1.0 mm because the new forming collagen production is a slow process and if u roll too soon you can mess up or even ruin the new collagen buildup.

I know i am a talker and i go on and on (so sorry ;D) its just skin remolding really fascinates me and i want to gain the correct information. And btw thank you again for your response it was greatly appreciated.

You should definitely not do any invasive skin procedures, including dermarolling for at least six months after the last Accutane dose.

If your scars did not respond to all the treatments you have had, such as twelve Fraxel sessions, it is not very probable that dermarolling will work too well on you.

As I explained here, lasers and dermarolling works on the same principle:

https://http://owndoc.com/dermarolling/how-dermarolling-works/

With a 1 mm size dermaroller, you should roll every 10 -14 days.

It would have been better to purchase a 1.5 mm dermastamp instead of the 1 mm size because you seem to have very stubborn scars and in the future, if you get some results from the 1 mm size stamp, you could even consider a 2 mm dermastamp.

It is a good idea to try the suction pump, as none of the treatments you had were targeting scar tethering.

The skin does get dry and rough right after dermarolling because the skin is being deeply renewed and it takes some time for the protective film that prevents water evaporation from the skin to be reformed after dermarolling.

The instructions for single needling are in our dermaroling instructions:
