Micro Crust
« on: January 22, 2013, 03:30:03 AM »
I used the 1.5 mm derma stamp on some areas of my face and two days later it feels like a micro crust has formed over these areas. Is this normal? I know that with procedures like fraxel restore, micro scabs form in a grid pattern after treatment. I think my situation is similar to this. The crusts are not that visible but the skin feels rough in those areas. This time I was more aggressive with the stamping than usual.
Also when would I be able to start using the .5 mm roller again? Should I wait a week for the micro scabs to fall off?

Yes, crusts/scabs are completely normal. Never remove them forcefully. They should fall off naturally when the skin under them has healed. Keep the area moisturized.
