Retin-A micro gel
« on: April 07, 2013, 06:19:39 AM »
Hi Sarah,

I have been advised by a dermatologist to use a Retin A micro 0.04% gel, can I use this product:

I do know that the % is not the same, but Im wondering if the 'micro' is a different product? The ones I have seen is awful expensive compared to yours.

I might be of help.  I regularly use 0.04% RAM and the "micro" refers to the sustained time-release microspheres in the tretinoin.  Apparently, the microspheres help it slowly diffuse into the skin, rather than it being applied all at once as with regular Retin-A, which might cause less irritation.

In a few days we will sell a 0.025% Tretinoin cream. That percentage is still very effective and not so irritating. For use on the face, this percentage is ideal. The more is not the better concerning Tretinoin, especially on facial skin.

Sarah, in response to your post above..... last week I received my order with your 0.025% Ret LOTION in a little jar, and it is working WONDERS on my adult acne after only 1 week. I see it is suddenly no longer on your website, are you replacing it with a CREAM version then? I want to order it right away when it becomes available so I don't run out, I have never had such an immediate result in improving my acne! I am waiting for my acne to clear before I use a dermaroller for the first time. Thank you!

huskerhut, could you please paste a copy of your above posting in this thread:

I am happy it works for you!

Yes, we are replacing the lotion with a cream version but the percentage of Tretinoin in it will stay the same. We got a few complaints that the lotion is too runny (watery) so that's why. Nevertheless, you can squeeze some of the Tretinoin cream into a jar and add a little distilled water to it if you prefer to have it more "light" or you can mix in for example a little of another cream.
