horrible skin texture
« on: April 21, 2013, 11:20:22 AM »
i had a fractional laser treatment on my nose for a surgery scar (which was a bad idea cause I had some kind of theraphy from another doctor who did an great job with cyrotheraphy!) but I heard about that great doctor in hamburg who has removed a dog bite scar and I was so stupid to go there cause I thought he would use the ktp laser but made it with a frac. laser which I had before and that hasn't worked for me.

...and now I have very uneven dryout (?) skin. And there is a zit (or gristle) now on the other side and beneath it I have some white skin. Maybe you can tell me if a dermaroller would work for the texture on the nose?

Its very bad for me cause I got teased about my acne when I was younger and after that some years later I was happy with my skin and take so much care of it. And now I'm very depressed and this is one of my last hopes. Cause I want to look into the mirror again without crying.

Honestly, most of our customers would love to have your skin.  You have a nice skin tone and do not seem to have scars or enlarged pores. Your photo is enlarged so in reality, your pores are really small.

The only small imperfection I can see is on your nose.

As you already know from your own experience, the skin on the nose is unpredictable in healing.

You can try a 0.5 mm dermastamp.  You have to start gently. Do just one stamping into the scars. If it heals well, do two stampings the next time. If it heals well, do three stampings the next time etc.

what do you think about the nose, is it more like the scar or the texture on it? On the one picture you can see that it looks a little bit dry out.

I think it is a small scar but it certainly does not look terrible.  Sometimes the more you do with the skin on the nose, the worse it gets because the nose skin is more prone to heal with scars.
