I have a few scars on one side of my cheek because of popping zits. I want to improve my scars but I am not sure if I should consider dermarolling/needling at home or professional treatment. I am currently a student and I am on a tight budget so I have to be very wise when spending. If anyone has had improvement in their scars using home dermarolling/needling or professional treatment please share your experiences. Thank you!

NOTE: I tried attaching some images of my scars but it would not let me!

This is the message I get when I want to post an image:

Your attachment couldn't be saved. This might happen because it took too long to upload or the file is bigger than the server will allow.

Also, if I wanted to buy some supplies for dermarolling/needling, how much is the cost of shipping to Canada?

Hi Auron,

The cost of shipping can be seen in your shopping cart. At the bottom is a cost estimator for each country.

You should resize your photo in some image manipulation software or photo management software so that is is no more than about 800 pixels wide. If that still doesn't work, you should JPEG-encode it, with a compression factor of 20. If you don't manage, I will try to answer your question without having a picture.

thank you for the instructions Sarah!

Can you please suggest to me a routine for improving my face scars?
Just to note, I don't smoke and I am not prone to acne but I have dry skin.

Wow, you have actually extremely beautiful skin..  No pores, smooth texture and tone. Most people can only dream about a skin like yours. You have just a couple of shallow scars. Use a 1 mm dermastamp every 10-14 days on them.

Lagale: More people complain they can't see the pictures in this new forum, would you mind telling me what browser you're using so we can try to solve it?

I meant that I cannot see the scars, I do see the photo, sorry, but the skin looks very good.  That shallow one scar would not bother me.

lagale they are shallow scars but they do bother me (which is why I am going to needle them).

Sarah, should I use retin a, single needles, infadolen, or vit c?

I like money just as much as anyone else, but you really should only buy the dermastamp in your case. That will really be sufficient and the added value of any vitamin creams in your case would be so marginal as to be insignificant.

Thank you Sarah. I think I would feel more comfortable using single needles instead of a dermastamp. Is that okay?

Yes, it is OK but we are currently sold out. We made a new design for our needles and they are being produced but it unfortunately takes a long time.

The needle itself will be the same (very thin long taper) but the holder is going to be shorter and thicker to make it easier to hold it.

There really are no alternatives, since our new needle stops exactly at 1.8 mm penetration depth and no other needle does that, which is very important to avoid (really quite terrible) bruising.

The reason we have such a big delay in needle production is that a previous factory wasted more than half a year of our time. The current factory is much more professional, and is on schedule.
